An autochthonous variety found in the Dalmatian Zagora, the Dalmatian coast and the Dalmatian islands. On the coast and islands, this variety appears under the name Rukatac. This superb wine is characterized by floral, pear and tropical fruit aromas. Alcohols that regularly reach a level of around 13%, sometimes more, place this variety at the very top of the white Dalmatian autochthonous varieties. Just like Debit, it is best to drink it with fish dishes and also with vegetables with more intense flavors like asparagus and the like.
